Update: this post was intended to be funny. I’ve received some weird comments about it. I don’t hate a imaginary family on TV. They are actors and they are doing their job. The script is really good and the comic was even better. Just take this post as it is: a fun post. A joke about these characters.

So I’ve just finished watching a Walking Dead marathon (AMC tv series), from the first episode to the last and I have to say it: these people deserve to die. Not all of them, just Rick Grimes, his wife and the kid. Yes, stay-in-the-house-Carl. Everyone knows this but I will just focus on Rick here.

Now, AMC Walking Deads writers may not realize this, but they’ve created some of the most sick and cold hearted characters in TV shows history. This family is wrong.

They have no soul. Not even the Adams Family showed this level of sickness and lack of empathy. I feel bad for the zombies: they have to live in a world where Rick Grimes, his stupid son Carl and his crazy wife Lori exist.

Reasons why they should be put to sleep. Like dogs.

1 – Rick Grimes is stupid enough to put a frag grenade inside his pants pocket and then forget about it until other character reminds him.

2- Rick Grimes takes his son Carl, who can’t even pee by himself without his mama to the woods to search for Sophia, the girl he “lost”. He actually takes his son to a unknown area full of dangers he know nothing about and let him wonder around unprotected, just because “Carl wants to be happy again”. Cute. But that’s when his son gets shot. He made that happen.

3- He goes back to Atlanta to help a drug addict he only knew for 2 minutes on the first couple of episodes, leaving his family alone in the woods. That’s right, he left his wife and son alone in the woods with a bunch of strange people because he wanted to save the life of some racist drug dealer he abandoned a day before.

4- Everyone wanted to kill the guy who went infected in the first couple of episodes (the one ditching the graves). Hell, even the guy himself agreed at some point. But what does Rick Grimes do? He rides with an infected person in the back of the RV. A danger to everyone. The guy is a time bomb. He just wants to watch the world burn.

5- Instead of thanking the old man for being kind enough to let him and his stupid son stay in his farm, he actually forces him to “reconsider” in a very rude way, almost threatening him. The old man has no choice but to let Rick Grimes stupid son (Carl) in the farm. He knew the boy was cursed.

6- Rick Grimes mangles into the old man’s life so much, he actually starts making fences, wires and stuff around the man’s property like if he owned the place.That’s like having a guest installing another lock in your door just because he wants to feel safer in your house (after he invited himself over).
“My house now old man. Where’s that daughter of yours?”

7- After Shane finds out the barn was infected with walkers, they have an argument. Shane wants to kill them because staying in a farm with a dozen zombies around them is not safe for the group. What does Rick Grimes do? He actually adds two more zombies inside the barn. More zombies, more danger. Rick Grimes is happy again.

8- After Shane kills all the walkers, probably saving the life of Rick’s stupid son (Carl) and his wife (and probably his life too, since the only thing holding those zombies inside the barn was a $2 tiny lock), Rick gets very upset. He didn’t liked that. Now there was no danger for the group. No fun for Rick. He even gets upset because Shane and the others killed a bunch of walkers. The bastards. Trying to protect their own lives. Who they think they are? Somehow, for Rick Grimes, getting rid of all those flesh eating zombies in the barn was wrong. These were the old man’s family! These were people! They could have handle things differently! It was wrong! Wrong…
…but not the one he killed himself (Sophia). No. That one was his work, so its alright. You see, the ones Rick kills don’t count for him. Those are guilt-free.

9- Oh, the girl! I forgot about the girl! Rick Grimmes actually said “I have her!” to her mother when the girl ran into the woods scared; next thing the poor woman knows is Rick lost her child. He makes up an excuse alright, but he left the poor girl alone in a forest infested with zombies.

10- Rick Grimes makes everyone work around the clock to help his injured son. Sophia, the girl he abandoned in the woods to her own luck can wait. Not a priority right now. She must be hidden somewhere. Right? Right?

11- While in town, Glenn, the old man and Rick get surrounded by zombies. A guy who just attacked the party has his leg stuck in a fence and the zombies are getting closer. What does Rick Grimes do? He wants to stay there, risk everyone’s lives and help the guy who just tried to kill him.Doesn’t matter if he killed two of his friends just a couple of minutes ago, Rick Grimes’s has to save this one! And why? Well because “he’s just a kid”.Of course he is. But then he tries to leave the same kid tied up in a parking lot and walk away.Cruel bastard. He first gave the guy hopes, then he wanted to leave him as a zombie bait.That’s just mean.

12- Later on the show, the same guy he was trying to protect, the same that tried to kill him becomes a danger for the group. See if he escapes, he will bring a group of “road warriors” to the farm who will most likely rape and kill everyone.What does Rick Grimmes do? He wants to cut him loose just 20 minutes away from the farm.He does every single possible thing to save this guy’s life while his wife, his pregnant wife is at someone’s else house in a world fill with flesh-eating zombies.Even after finding out there is a group of raping-crazy-warriors camping near the farm.Nah. He’s worried about the guy. Who tried to kill him by the way… not even a day before.

13- When the walkers busted the old man’s farm because stupid Carl shot Zombie Shane in the face, what does Rick Grimes do? He set the barn on fire and asks for the old man’s stepson to move the RV closer to the entrance where the infected were so he can make a jump from the barn’s rooftop (which is now on fire, why the hell you did that?) Oh, and he gets the poor chap killed.The zombies broke inside the RV and gutted that poor kid like a goddamn pig.The cold bastard didn’t even made an attempt to save that poor lad’s life or even spare him the pain, no — he just ran with his son and then never told the old man his stepson died (not until someone asked anyway.)

14- His wife yelled (clearly) “She’s dead, let’s go!” and everyone left Andrea alive in the middle of a horde, then when they asked where was Andrea she says “I think she went down, I’m not sure…”. They are cold. His whole family is cold. His wife worked on Shane emotions while Carl got Dale’s killed and even screwed things so bad the whole farm was lost. Cruel bastards.

15- For some reason, the bastard can kill a little girl and don’t even blink (he shot down that girl with a smile on his face, he actually stepped forward to do it) but when Dale had his guts all over the place and begs for mercy shot, what does Rick Grimes the bastard do? Well of course, he takes his time to “decide”. In fact he takes so much time another character ends up showing some kindness to the poor Dale.
Rick Grimes steps back and watches from behind. Cruel, mean bastard.

16- When he finally gets Shane to put his shit together, he stabs him in the chest and twist that mother**** until Shane’s eyes pop. What a cold bastard. He was making him believe everything was going to be alright when he did it. He didn’t used his gun though, he used the knife. He wanted to see Shane’s eyes up close.

He wanted to see the pain and fear in his partner’s soul. The same partner who saved his family from a zombie outbreak. No, not just his family, but his life too.

When the world went to hell Shane had the decency to stop by the hospital and try one last time to revive Rick Grimes. Before he ran away to protect the man’s family, he actually blocked his room with a gurney, even when he was sure Rick was dead. He wanted to protect the sanctity and christianity of his body. Rick knew all this, that’s why he enjoyed killing the man up close.

17- In the last episode, Rick Grimes reveals he kept a nasty little secret. Jensen told him at the CDC that everyone was infected and will eventually become a zombie. Of course, he could have mentioned it when they were all happy and feeling safe back in a farm. The situation was a lot better back then. Nice open space. Lots of time to think about life and what it meant. “I am a zombie? Really? Wow. Look at the landscape.”

What does Rick Grimmes do? He tells them about it when there is no hope.

That’s right. He kills the last hope in a zombie infection.

“You’re all infected and when you die? You become a zombie. Hell, if you bite your tongue you may become a zombie faster, who knows. Haven’t tried myself.”

He enjoys seeing them suffer. The old man lost his life, farm, half his family. The rest lost all hope in finding a place safe from the walkers. They don’t even have fuel. He loves it. He even steps away from them a minute, he can’t stand the joy of seeing them suffer at that level. The faces. He loves the faces. “Let’s get some sleep”.

18- In the first episodes, Rick Grimes goes to the police station. After they take a shower, the black guy (can’t remember his name) and Rick are about to say their goodbyes when a zombie walks on the other side of the fence.

The black guy says “if you shoot him, the others will hear and come.”

What does Rick Grimes do? Yes. He says “you better don’t be here when that happens” and pulls the trigger. Of course, he’s going to Atlanta. Let the black guy and his little son stay in that town with a group of zombies who now know there is someone with a gun around.

Cold son of a bitch.

I hope Activision makes a good game out of this serie. I can’t wait to kill Rick Grimes twice a day. So what about you? Why do you think that family should be killed?
